European Researchers’ Night
Taking place simultaneously in 30 countries across Europe, the European Researchers’ Night is the largest science promotion event in Europe. It celebrates the work of scientists and researchers and shows how their work is making a difference to the lives of everyone.
In Wales, we’re calling the project “ADIFF” (as in “making a difference”) and our main celebration will take place in Cardiff on 27 November, at the same time as the celebrations everywhere else in Europe. However, in the weeks leading up to European Researchers’ Night, there are free events and activities taking place across Wales to show how research is making a difference.
As a result of the coronavirus we have had to change our plans slightly, so that now all our events up and down Wales will take place on-line.
European Researchers’ Night is organised by Science Made Simple, Cardiff University etc and is funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions under contract number 955277.
